Q'ero Spiritual Transmission
The Karpay is a spiritual transmission experience of the Q'ero tradition, lived in the sacred mountains of the Andes. It is a moment to pause, listen, give thanks and open yourself to a deeper connection with nature and with yourself.
Accompanied by an Elder Q'ero Master, the participant enters a ceremonial space where the mountain, silence, fire, offering and the spoken word become part of an experience of respect and reciprocity. It is not simply a trip to the mountain. It is an experience to feel, listen and connect.
Who is the Karpay?
This experience is especially for those who wish to begin their spiritual path and develop as a spiritual healer, opening themselves to the gift of healing that the Andean tradition has passed down from generation to generation.
The Karpay is the first stage of the path to becoming a Master. It is not a one-day achievement: it is a path cultivated through decades of study, practice and devotion. In keeping with that steady walking, each person gradually reaches their own level of experience and consciousness.
For this reason, this transmission is offered as a sincere recommendation for those who feel the call: receiving the Karpay opens the initial door to a life path guided by the Q'ero Masters, where humility, reciprocity and connection with Pachamama are the true everyday teachers.
01. The Stages of the Karpay
Within the Q'ero tradition there are different ceremonial transmissions. Each one carries its own meaning and can be received at different moments of the personal path.
The Great Transmission
A ceremony of opening and connection with the spiritual lineage, Pachamama and the Apus.
The Transmission of Reciprocity
An experience related to the principle of Ayni: reciprocity and balance between human beings, nature and community.
The Transmission of Love
A deepening of Munay, understood within the Andean tradition as love, willpower and connection with life.
The corresponding stage will be coordinated in advance with the Q'ero Master.

02. Experience Program
Day 1 · The path to the mountain
Departure from Cusco
Our gathering begins in Cusco. Along the way we leave behind the pace of the city and draw closer to a landscape where the presence of the mountain transforms the experience.
Arrival at the mountain
The team prepares the camp and ceremonial space. The bilingual guide accompanies participants and provides the guidance needed to move about with safety and respect.
Preparing the ceremonial space
The Elder Q'ero Master prepares the altar and the elements of the ceremony. It is a moment to pause, breathe and prepare inwardly.
Energy cleansing and harmonization
Cleansing and energy harmonization ceremony to release what we no longer need to carry and prepare to receive the experience with an open heart.
Andean Mass
Ceremonial act of gratitude and reciprocity with Pachamama and the sacred forces of the mountain.
Karpay Transmission
The central moment of the experience. The Elder Q'ero Master performs the Karpay spiritual transmission according to the stage previously coordinated. This is not something to watch from the outside: the participant is invited to live it through presence, silence and respect.
Offering to Pachamama
Ceremonial offering of gratitude to Mother Earth. The offering embodies reciprocity: receiving from the Earth while also learning to give thanks and give back.
Night on the mountain
We share the meals prepared for the group and spend the night at camp, surrounded by the landscape of the sacred mountains.
Day 2 · Sunrise, integration and return
Sunrise on the mountain
We begin the second day in contact with nature. Sunrise at altitude offers a special moment to contemplate the landscape and absorb what was lived during the ceremony.
Integration space
The Q'ero Master shares a few closing words and guidance for continuing the personal path after the experience. There is no wish to rush this moment: each person has their own way of living and understanding what was experienced.
Breakfast and preparation
We share breakfast, pack up camp and get ready to begin the journey back.
Return to Cusco
We set out on the journey back to Cusco, carrying not only photographs of the mountain but also the memory of having shared a special moment with a living ancestral tradition.
03. An Invitation
The Karpay invites us to remember something simple: sometimes we need to step away from the noise in order to hear ourselves again. On the mountain we do not find answers to everything. We find silence, presence and a space to look inward.
The Q'ero tradition teaches us the value of reciprocity, of respect for nature and of connection with life. For this reason, this experience is not presented as a promise of immediate transformation. It is an invitation.
04. Important Information
- 2-day, 1-night experience, with departure from and return to Cusco.
- Two destination options: Ausangate or Qoylluriti, coordinated in advance according to the ceremony, mountain conditions and the guidance of the Q'ero Master.
- Private or small-group experience, preserving the intimacy and respect this kind of experience requires.
- Ceremony led by an Elder Q'ero Master with a bilingual guide throughout the program.
- Meals included during both days, plus campsite on the mountain and transportation.
- The experience is subject to weather and mountain safety conditions.
- Warm clothing and proper mountain footwear are required, along with protection against cold, wind and sun.
- The Karpay spiritual transmission belongs to the ceremonial context of the Q'ero tradition and is performed with respect for its practices and meanings.
- This experience does not constitute a professional certification, nor does it accredit the participant as a Paqo or Andean Master.
