"Conscious movement opens the flow of vital energy. Discover postures, breathing and practices inspired by the Andean worldview to revitalize body and mind."
Movement is a form of prayer in the Andean tradition. When the body moves with awareness, vital energy flows, the mind settles and the spirit awakens. Yoga and conscious movement are paths to recover that unity.\n\nIn the Andes, vital energy is called sami and animates every cell of the body. Postures that open the chest, mobilize the spine and awaken the abdomen help the sami circulate freely, dissolving physical and emotional tensions.\n\nBreathing is the key to conscious movement. Deep, slow, silent breathing calms the nervous system and allows the body to expand. In the Andean practice, each inhalation receives the strength of the mountain and each exhalation releases what no longer serves you.\n\nA simple practice to begin: walk barefoot in the morning, feel your contact with the earth, stretch your arms toward the sun and give thanks from the heart. This "Andean greeting" awakens the body and prepares the spirit for the day.\n\nConscious movement requires neither experience nor equipment: it requires presence. Practicing daily, even for fifteen minutes, transforms vitality, improves posture and restores the joy of inhabiting a living body.
Respiracion y energia vital
El sami, la energia vital andina, fluye con la respiracion consciente. Practicar respiraciones lentas y profundas armoniza cuerpo y mente, y prepara el terreno para el movimiento.
